# TPP Opinion: TPP believes that using any consumables not recommended by a manufacturer with

any product should NEVER void a warranty. TPP believes it may (or should) be illegal in Australia to

void a warranty on any product. Indeed, we believe that not giving a consumer choices when buying

any consumables for any product is anti-competitive. However, TPP does acknowledge that if a 

non-recommended consumable causes damage to an item under warranty, the user may have to

pay for damage for that particular repair. So buyer beware - only use quality consumables like TPP

sells. If in doubt, consult your warranty documentation and/or seek sound independant legal advice.
